Images make a general emotion, sentiment, or mood…..

Just showing a picture is not enough, however. Whether it's a photo or an illustration, images must be expertly grip cropped, edited, or simplified to bring out the spirit of the message. The more inexpensive the message, the better it speak. A simple approach without disturbing or irrelevant detail will decide whether the viewer grasps the concept or jumps to the
wrong end.

On a intellectual level, the images in an ad or layout does much more than simply transmission a concept. It also communicates a general emotion, sentiment, or mood that a viewer will associate with the product or publication. Tapping this vague quality of images is necessary to brand marketing.

The functions of images in Graphic Design

The use of imagery

Photographic images or illustrations is the mainly straight way to communicate to a wide audience. There's a technical basis for this: Our mind processes any kind of image shape, a illustration, even an outline of a figure much more rapidly than it does a word or judgment.

There's a marketable cause, too. Design must talk to a wide audience and speak quickly. This is partly because we are busy with visual messages we see graphic design everywhere. How much time do u dedicate to scanning a magazine ad. A design often has a part of a second to control attention and communicate. If the message is not convincing or clear, the opportunity is lost.
